FAQs

1. What kind of products do you customize?

We customize a wide range of apparel and accessories, including sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, hats, water bottles, tote bags, and more. If you don’t see what you need, just ask — we can source most items.

2. Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes. Our standard minimum is 10 items per design. However, pricing improves with bulk quantities — the more you order, the better the per-unit price.

3. Can I see a proof before you print?

Absolutely. We’ll send you a digital mock-up of your design on the selected product(s). Production only begins once you approve the final proof.

4. What’s the turnaround time?

Production typically takes 7–14 business days after design approval. Shipping adds another 2–5 business days depending on your location. Rush services may be available on request.

5. Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

Yes! We offer tiered discounts based on quantity. For example:

  • 10–19 units: £1 off per unit

  • 50–99 units: £2 off per unit

  • 100–199 units: £4 off per unit

  • 200+ units: £6 off per unit

(Note: Some products are excluded from bulk discounts.)

6. Can I return or cancel my order?

Since all items are custom-made, we cannot accept returns unless the item is defective or there was an error on our end. See our Refund Policy for full details.

7. Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we [do/do not] offer international shipping. Please contact us directly for special international orders.

8. What file format do you need for logos?

High-resolution files (like .PNG, .EPS, .AI, or vector PDFs) work best. We’ll let you know if your logo needs adjustments for print.

Our Philosophy.

At Tackle Apparel, we believe that every business has a unique identity, and we're passionate about helping you express it through exceptional custom branding. Our journey began with a simple idea: to provide UK businesses with more than just merchandise, but truly unique, high-quality embroidered products, that not only last, but also make a lasting impression.

Furthermore, our dedication to environmental responsibility profoundly shapes our material sourcing. We prioritize local suppliers and thoughtfully select our fabrics, including 100% premium cotton for our polos and a balanced 65% cotton / 35% polyester blend for our hoodies. This conscious approach significantly reduces our carbon footprint, distinguishing us from many industry practices that often involve extensive international sourcing and a higher reliance on synthetic concentrations. By choosing responsibly, we ensure not only a more sustainable process but also deliver products with superior comfort, breathability, and lasting quality for your brand."

Studies and industry comparisons consistently highlight that embroidered designs are significantly more durable than printed designs, often lasting the lifetime of the garment itself. They are resistant to wear and tear, frequent washing, fading, and cracking, which are common issues with printed designs over time.

"Enclothed Cognition" (Adam & Galinsky, 2012): This widely cited concept, coined by Hajo Adam and Adam Galinsky, demonstrates how clothing can influence the wearer's psychological processes. Their experiments, such as those where participants wearing a "doctor's coat" (vs. a painter's coat or casual clothes) showed increased selective attention and ability to focus, highlight how specific attire can prime cognitive functions.

Enhanced Happiness and Confidence (Coventry University): A significant study led by Professor Louise Moody at Coventry University, found that wearing a well-made, well-fitting uniform can increase employee happiness by as much as 22%. This research, titled "Exploring the relationship between uniform and perceived employee happiness and productivity," indicates that employees who liked their uniform consistently reported feeling more confident.
